Michael Starling’s entrepreneurial spirit ignited in middle school, where he began building businesses focused on selling sneakers online. This passion evolved into creating software solutions to assist others in the sneaker market, eventually leading to ventures that teach e-commerce skills. Michael’s dedication to entrepreneurship and helping others has been a significant part of his life, shaping his love for creating value and fostering connections. His journey is a testament to his relentless drive and commitment to making a positive impact.
Volleyball became a surprising yet cherished part of Michael’s life during college. After an injury left him unable to play sports competitively for a while, he picked up volleyball to bond with his younger sister, who plays at a collegiate level. What started as a way to connect with family turned into a passion, with Michael playing regularly for the past few years. This experience not only rekindled his competitive spirit but also highlighted the importance of resilience and adaptability in his life.
The ProSales program at Baylor has been instrumental in Michael’s development, teaching him the value of continuous learning and collaboration. He has sharpened his time management skills, allowing him to maximize productivity and prioritize effectively.
