Elana Norman embodies a remarkable blend of dedication, curiosity, and service, defining her journey with a comprehensive personal and professional growth approach. Her commitment to pursuing a double major in ProSales and Finance is matched by her enthusiasm for continuous learning, as evidenced by staying on track with her goal to read two books per month throughout the year. Elana’s love for health and wellness shines through her active lifestyle, including long walks, hiking, and pickleball. Her wanderlust has taken her to nine countries, with recent adventures adding to her global perspective.  

Elana’s dedication to service and leadership has been a cornerstone of her personal development. Her experience as a Miracle League Buddy, serving kids with disabilities, during high school provided invaluable perspective on the importance of community and empathy. At Baylor, her role as a Professional Development Program leader has further amplified her commitment to making an impact on others, allowing her to network with executives and facilitate career growth sessions. These experiences underscore her passion for creating positive change and her ability to connect with others through mentoring, community service, or professional networking. 

The ProSales program at Baylor has been instrumental in Elana’s growth, enhancing her self-discipline, communication skills, and ability to build meaningful relationships. Initially nervous about public speaking, Elana has become a confident presenter thanks to the program’s rigorous structure and collaborative environment. Her refined skills in active listening, thoughtful questioning, and understanding diverse personalities have enriched her personal and professional interactions. Elana’s enthusiasm for mentoring the next generation of ProSales students and leading initiatives like the Student Showcase and BBCC competition team reflects her dedication to paying forward the knowledge she has gained. Through ProSales and her various endeavors, Elana Norman continues to exemplify a commitment to personal excellence, impactful leadership, and a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others.
