Hailing from Guadalajara, Mexico, Sofia’s journey to Baylor University showcases her resilience and determination. As a bilingual student, she is on a mission to master a third language, highlighting her commitment to breaking down communication barriers. Sofia is pursuing a double major in Professional Sales and International Business, complemented by a minor in German. Her global perspective is further enriched by a Business Internship experience in Germany. Sofia’s leadership journey at Baylor University is a testament to her fearless spirit. From being elected as Sophomore Senator to her role as Junior Class Secretary in Student Government, Sofia’s transformation from a shy high school student to a fearless leader is remarkable. She has embraced opportunities for growth, understanding that stepping outside her comfort zone is essential for personal development. Her involvement as a leader in the Professional Development Program and two years heading up Social Media for the ProSales Program at Baylor further underscores her dedication to continuous improvement.

The most valuable lesson Sofia has learned from her experiences in ProSales is the power of fearlessness. Sofia firmly believes that Baylor ProSales is the ideal environment for her, where challenging opportunities consistently push her to be a better person and a fearless Go-Getter. The program has instilled in her the importance of hard work, perseverance, and unwavering determination, qualities that will undoubtedly drive her success in her future endeavors.
