Shane Trevino stands out as a unique individual with a remarkable ability to overcome challenges and find innovative solutions. His unwavering determination to succeed, coupled with a creative and solution-oriented mindset, distinguishes him in any endeavor he undertakes. Shane’s positive attitude, combined with his willingness to take on new challenges, has earned him leadership positions and the respect of his peers. His tenacity and resourcefulness are assets that continue to drive his success, both personally and professionally.

Throughout his time at Baylor, Shane has immersed himself in leadership roles that showcase his passion for making a difference. As the university’s mascot, he served as a prominent brand ambassador, engaging fans at various events and contributing to Baylor’s national recognition. In addition to his mascot duties, Shane demonstrated his leadership abilities as the president of the American Marketing Association (AMA), where he collaborates with Waco businesses to enhance their outreach strategies. Furthermore, his role as the host of the entrepreneurship podcast, “Venturing Out,” bridges the gap between local business owners in Waco and aspiring student entrepreneurs. Shane’s involvement in his fraternity, including fundraising efforts and executive roles, exemplifies his commitment to leadership and community building.

As a Baylor ProSales student, Shane has effectively applied his sales skills, both inside and outside the classroom. These skills have proved invaluable in recruiting new members and forming partnerships for clubs, raising funds for philanthropic events, and excelling in internal and external sales competitions. His mastery of active listening, effective communication, and negotiation has enabled him to connect with potential partners and clients, understand their needs, and present compelling solutions. Shane’s one-word self-description as “tenacious” perfectly captures his unwavering determination, resilience, and drive to succeed. Beyond his involvement at Baylor, Shane is committed to making a positive impact in the Waco community. He supports and fosters the growth of local entrepreneurs through his participation in Start Up Waco and uses his marketing skills to assist various local businesses. Shane’s real estate endeavors and engagement with the Waco Chambers of Commerce for Young Professionals demonstrate his dedication to building networks and learning from other professionals.
