Student Feature – Mason Pound

Growing in Confidence

When Mason Pound first interviewed to join the ProSales program, he noted his biggest weakness was his lack of confidence. Today, he considers himself an entirely new person. Double majoring in ProSales and Management, Mason is grateful that the ProSales program challenges him. He appreciates the support of his ProSales peers. As a result of both the program and his peers, Mason has more confidence, a stronger work ethic, better organization, richer communication skills, and a greater ability to work with others.

To contribute to the ProSales community, Mason strives to be the person people can turn to when they need help. By making himself available to his peers, he supports others through his own gifts and talents. As a detail-oriented person, Mason is often willing to lend a hand with proofreading and editing. Believing that his work is an extension of himself, he makes sure he works to exceed expectations.

Outside of school, Mason has been teaching himself to cook and he loves to be outdoors, kayaking or hiking. To improve himself and broaden his perspective, he enjoys watching documentaries and educational videos. He looks forward to bringing his skills, experience, and confidence to a full-time sales position.
