Student Feature – Matt Ochall

Service with a Smile

Inspired by 1 Peter 4:10, Matt Ochall seeks to serve those around him and bring light into their lives. He has a passion for fun and chooses to make each day a great day. In high school, he discovered a love of meeting new people through rowing around the Midwest. Today, Matt finds joy and passion in volunteering and traveling. To bring fun to others, he invites others to enjoy the bounce house that he owns!

Double majoring in ProSales and Management Information Systems, Matt served as Philanthropy Chair for Phi Kappa Chi, is on the leadership team for Baylor’s Professional Development Program, and is a small group leader at Harris Creek Church. During his time at Baylor, Matt has focused on listening, observing, and slowing down to be fully present in a conversation to deepen a relationship.

ProSales has taught Matt to utilize every opportunity that life presents and that asking for help is not a weakness. Instead, he seeks to say yes to the unexpected and learn from those around him, greatly valuing the community that ProSales has given him. Matt looks forward to serving his colleagues to the best of his abilities in his future career, as he believes a smile from someone else is the best reward.
