Student Feature – Joseph Crump
On the Ice and In the Office
A double major in ProSales and Management, Joseph Crump is driven and determined, with a deep passion for sales and ice hockey. Pursuing hockey professionally, he lived with host families all over North America between the ages of 13 and 21. After injuries ended his professional hockey career, he rerouted his passion into Baylor ProSales and serving as Head Coach for Baylor’s Ice Hockey team.
Joseph’s time at Baylor has taught him how to be a confident, yet humble leader, which is required to effectively manage others. Developing his time and relationship management skills through ProSales, Joseph leverages those learnings on the ice, where his leadership role involves recruiting donors and working with the City of Waco and the Dallas Stars to lay the foundation for building an ice rink in Waco.
Passionate about helping others, Joseph is thankful for the opportunities ProSales has given him to collaborate with other students and counts his favorite part of the program as the students and faculty who act as one big family. He is excited to bring his experience and passion to his sales career.
