Student Feature – Haley West

Intentional Service

Double majoring in ProSales and Entrepreneurship, Haley West is passionate about helping others and loving well. She strives to love others as Christ demonstrates His love for us and to help people in any way she can. Translating this passion to her work, she asks intentional questions to meet the needs of clients and find solutions. A way in which ProSales has supported Haley in her development is by teaching her the power of active listening through role plays. Inside and outside of the classroom, Haley is now thoughtful, attentive, and intentional with her responses.

At Baylor, Haley co-led her sorority as a Sing Chair where she led 300+ women in creating a theatrical event, which was challenging after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19. Working on a team with six other women in her chapter, this experience taught her the importance of organization and effective communication. Outside of school, Haley loves rollerblading, skiing, hiking, spending time with her family and friends, and going on fun adventures. She has even faced her biggest fear and went scuba diving with bull sharks in Mexico!

Being in ProSales has taught Haley balance. To be intentional and engaged in all aspects of her life, she has learned to set boundaries and prioritize between different needs. Her favorite aspect of the program is the community. Though she began the program as a transfer student, feeling unsure about where her community would lie, she quickly gained friends, supporters, and a ProSales family.
