Student Feature – Riley Walton

A Professional People Person

Double majoring in ProSales and Finance, Riley seeks to incorporate her Christian faith into her work and honor God by using her gifts to the best of her ability. With a strong sense of empathy and a passion for people, Riley has tutored children at underperforming schools, worked with mentally and physically disabled kids, and seeks a career in sales primarily to help others.

A captain on her high school cheerleading team, Riley learned the value of keeping a positive outlook and never giving up. At Baylor, she has learned the value of going above and beyond what is asked of her, seeking to become a better version of herself by exceeding expectations.

Through the ProSales Program, Riley has learned to integrate professionalism into her daily life, whether that be through sending emails, interacting with peers and superiors, or managing her time. She values the opportunities ProSales provides to interact with business professionals. Through events like Top Gun, she has been able to refine her communication while building a strong network of future contacts. Giving credit to ProSales, Riley is ready to combine her professional skills and passion for people in her career.
