Student Feature – Paschal Curlin
An Impactful Communicator
Making the most of his multicultural upbringing and the travel opportunities he was given, Paschal Curlin has surfed with locals in Hawaii, driven motorcycles in the mountain villages of Vietnam, spent childhood summers in a cabin on a river in Slovakia, and hunted ducks with family in the flyways of Tennessee. Through these experiences, Paschal has learned how to relate to people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. Passionate about his relationships with others, he seeks to create genuine connections wherever he goes. Bringing this passion to Baylor, Paschal is a member of Kappa Omega Tau and serves as the Cadet Chaplain for the Army ROTC program.
Paschal credits the ProSales program with taking him even further outside of his comfort zone, resolving his bad habits and teaching him how to confidently engage with professionals of all levels. Recognizing that, as people, we are selling ourselves at all times, whether that be negotiating a job offer or going on a date, Paschal is grateful for the lessons ProSales has given him in communicating and influencing people. Wherever the future takes him, he is confident he will communicate for impact.
