Listening to Serve

Double majoring in ProSales and Finance, Ashton Kresta approaches life with tenacity and a strong work ethic cultivated by summers spent working on a farm. In high school, he was the president of three separate organization and led his Farm Business Management team to the Future Farmers of America national competition. At Baylor, Ashton has served as Head Float Chair for his fraternity, Pi Kappa Phi, two years running.

Motivated and energetic, his passion is to serve others and ensure their voices are heard. Ashton sees sales as a way to help people by providing solutions specific to their needs. Being in the ProSales program has taught him that the best way to accomplish this is through listening. Rather than pushing an agenda, Ashton understands that when he listens to others, he can better appreciate their motivations, allowing him to build genuine connections and serve clients effectively.

Applying these skills to all of his interactions, Ashton is grateful to ProSales for the opportunity to engage with business executives and professionals inside and outside of the classroom. He is confident that the program has and will continue to prepare him to serve any sales organization in the future.
