Choosing to be Positive

Clay Almond approaches life with a positive attitude, recognizing that your attitude is one of the few things you can control. Growing up on a deer ranch, he was raised in an environment that valued hard work and self-discipline while maintaining a positive attitude. He strives to learn something new each day and to make progress towards his goals. Passionate about his faith, he looks for ways to serve others with a smile and has been able to do this through his new member educator leadership role in his fraternity.

Since Clay likes to learn, another word to describe Clay is coachable. Taking feedback with a smile and intention to grow is at the core of who Clay is. During his time in ProSales, he has learned the importance of time management to increase productivity and reduce stress. He also credits the program with showing how to conduct himself in a business setting.

Finally, Clay takes the time to invest in relationships, whether that means sending a follow-up email or a thank you note, he looks for ways to put a smile on another person’s face. Clay seeks to exercise empathy and see situations from another’s perspective. Even while in competition, he cheers on his peers every chance he gets.
