Student Feature – Megan Baniewicz
Conscious Communication
Megan Baniewicz knows the power that words can have. She strives to be authentic in who she is and what she says and does. Through ProSales, she has developed her communication skills further and understands the significance of the language she uses and how her ideas are phrased. As a ProSales and MIS double major, Megan is passionate about learning and growing in knowledge and expanding her experience. One of her favorite ProSales experiences was traveling to Wisconsin and Ohio for sales competitions. In fact, while in Toledo, she was a student coach for two ProSales peers and helped them place 1st and 13th.
Megan enjoys healthy competition and has been a member of the Baylor Crew team since her freshman year. She currently serves as Baylor Crew president and exercises her leadership skills in overseeing all club activities and acting as the club’s liaison with Baylor. As president, she has been able to practice the art of delegation. As someone who generally likes to be hands-on, she has learned how to effectively communicate needs to her team.
Megan practiced effective teamwork and communication skills during her summer internship at Dell Technologies. She looks forward to an exciting and full senior year.
