Student Feature – Charlie Doebbler
Growing and Sharing
A double major in ProSales and Marketing, Charlie Doebbler has taken his learning out of the classroom by starting a company with a few business partners. Customer Engagement Strategies was one of ten companies (out of 199 entries) that made it to the finals in the 2020 Baylor New Venture Competition. Leveraging the skill development and tools embedded in the ProSales program, he has built and maintained a customer base of car dealerships while being a full-time student. Alongside his business, Charlie is involved in OsoLaunch, where he advises freshman entrepreneurs on their business plans. Furthermore, he is a member of Alpha Kappa Psi, the business fraternity, and enjoys helping new members grow in professionalism.
Passionate about learning, entrepreneurship and his faith, Charlie strives to use all three every day in his work, school and interactions with others. During this summer internship at Dell Technologies, he lived out his faith while learning and creating value in the sales organization. In Charlieā€™s view, sales is not a job, but a mindset. He believes that the best sellers are constantly practicing and improving themselves. Throughout his time at Baylor, he has grown in confidence and boldness and willingly shares his life and faith with others.
