Student Feature – Ashton Peckinpah
Ashton is competitive and highly engaged. When she was younger, she began ski racing (snow skiing). In high school, she qualified for the Junior Olympic Ski Racing team. Ashton is also an avid dancer, singer, and actor, and performed in over 40 musicals while growing up. Additionally, she was in the choir in junior high and high school, taught herself to play guitar and piano, and was a member of the varsity swim and volleyball teams all four years of high school.
What makes Ashton truly unique is her dedication to serving others. In high school, Ashton started an anti-human trafficking awareness club. In her current role at TFNB Bank, Ashton helps women recovering from trafficking to start their own businesses.
At Baylor, Ashton is a member of the Baylor Religious Hour Choir and the Student Foundation. She is also a double major in Professional Selling and Finance. She credits the ProSales program with teaching her the importance of professional authenticity. Through opportunities to connect with business professionals, Ashton has gained the confidence to speak to them as a colleague which then allows her to share her experiences more authentically.
Ashton is excited to start her career at Johnson & Johnson – Ethicon.
