Student Feature – Laurel Foster
After spending her freshman year at the University of Arkansas, Laurel transferred to Baylor. When she first arrived on campus, Laurel was fearful of rejection, always worried to hear the word “no.” But over the past two years, she has become resilient. Laurel is thriving at Baylor and shines as a ProSales student and in her role as the Vice President of Finance for Pi Beta Phi.
Laurel credits the Professional Selling program with teaching her to embrace rejection. She now knows rejection is inevitable and that she can learn from it.
One of her favorite parts of the program has been developing relationships with her colleagues in the ProSales community. She has enjoyed becoming closer to fellow students through shared classes, group assignments, and supporting one another.
After graduation, Laurel will start her career at Gartner.
