Student Feature – Collin Short

Some people are passionate about work, others about family, and still others are passionate about things like handcrafted lattes. Collin is passionate about it all. Each day he strives to live life to the fullest. He desires to make a positive impact on everyone he meets. He loves to be surrounded by people, to work with others towards a common goal.

Collin is particularly passionate about politics and has spent two summers in Washington, D.C.-based internships. Collin is the Vice President of the Club Volleyball team at Baylor, and is majoring in Professional Selling and Finance.

Being part of the ProSales program taught Collin how to be a great leader and how to interact with professionals in a variety of settings, from interviews to networking dinners. Collin has applied these skills to his life outside of the program and credits these skills for his acceptance into the Baylor BEST program.

After graduation, Collin is grateful to begin his career at Paycom.
