Brianna Hensley Receives Outstanding Staff Award from Baylor University
Brianna Hensley, Program Manager for the Center for Professional Selling, received the Baylor University Outstanding Staff Award at the March Staff Forum. This important award recognizes 4-7 staff members from the entire university who accomplish exceptional achievements in their respective job assignments effectively supporting the University’s mission. Award-winning staff members are those who go above and beyond expectations in their role and have shown professional dedication to their work or the university’s mission.
In addition to the administrators, faculty and staff who wrote in support of Brianna’s nomination, a number of ProSales students added their praise to her nomination packet. A couple of soundbites from that nomination packet provides a glimpse of how Ms. Hensley’s contributions are perceived:
“Brianna’s role is unique in that she serves a variety of very different constituents. Not only does she support faculty and staff in the Center, but she engages with corporate partners to ensure ongoing opportunities for student programs, education, and career placement. From fundraising to event planning, her role requires a skill set that is typically spread over two or three positions.”
“Brianna exemplifies the perfect staff member here at Baylor. She successfully supports and delivers excellence and growth in all her activities. She does this with a positive attitude and determination that creates an outstanding colleague for all who work with her.”
“Ms. Hensley is doing a superb job in her role as Program Manager for the Professional Sales Center as well as with her dealings with all stakeholders including students, corporate partners and recruiters, and faculty both at Baylor as well as with faculty at other universities.”
“Brianna’s heart is clearly centered on honoring the Lord by the work that she does. Her focus on excellence stems from a heart of service. No matter what executives ask of her, Brianna finds a way to address their questions and serve their needs. When faculty ask for support in the classroom, in the Sales Lab, or for a sales competition team, Brianna serves them without hesitation. She works tirelessly to build strong positive relationships with colleagues in Hankamer (for her job) and throughout Baylor (for her service through Baylor Round Table)…all stemming from her desire to honor the Lord in all that she does.”
We are proud of Brianna on this important University-level award.
