Top Finishers of BBVA Sales Competition Announced
We are excited to announce the top finishers of the Baylor Business Value Analysis (BBVA) competition, where students completed a value analysis and presented the value proposition in a five-minute video. This competition prompted students to determine how best to convey a change for an entire chain of convenience stores involving a 3M product in the water purification market. Value videos were judged virtually by 82 Corporate Partners, Advisory and Ambassador board members and business executives from around the country.
Among the 83 individual competitors, the top finishers are:
1. Chris Nunn
2. Emily McCandlish
3. Colton Wiseman
4. Stephen Calcote
5. Saylor Yoos
6. Brody Hill
7. Josh Rocconi (T)
7. Riley Smith (T)
8. Anderson Harris
9. Abraham Lipets
“Our Advisory and Ambassador Board member organizations hire from a number of universities. From their experiences with college students across the country, our board members continue to challenge us to strengthen our students’ understanding about creating value-in-use for complex products in order to differentiate the Baylor ProSales student in the marketplace. For this year’s BBVA, I’m grateful for 3M’s Mickey Hess who provided a very rich case for our students’ learning,” noted Dr. Andrea Dixon, Executive Director of the Center for Professional Selling. The BBVA allows Baylor students to see how they stack up against their peers and allows the center’s Corporate Partners to view Baylor talent as they prepare to enter the job market. In addition, top performers are awarded cash prizes.
