Student Feature – Collin Causey

Headshot of Collin Causey

Collin is passionate about caring. When we think of caring, we usually think of those who take time to invest in others, acting to encourage and helping others succeed. Collin demonstrates these qualities daily as he interacts with his peers, professors, and mentors, and in his leadership positions with the ATO Fraternity and on the External Relations Committee for Steppin’ Out. In addition to caring about people, Collin cares about his work, striving to do his best in every task he undertakes.

Collin learned to build relationships and to be caring during his childhood. As his father was in the Air Force, his family moved frequently. In fact, Collin never lived in one place for more than four years. This experience not only taught him to care for others and to build relationships, but also taught him to be adaptable and flexible.

As a dual major in ProSales and Management, Collin understands the importance of good time management skills. He credits the ProSales program with developing these skills and with teaching him how to: be professional, succeed at a challenging task by viewing everything as a learning opportunity, and be a positive influence in the business world. Through his passion for caring, Collin looks forward to being a positive influence as he begins his sales career at Medline Industries.
