Student Feature – Madeline Senter
When she is determined, Madeline will find a way to accomplish her goals. Recently, she began learning to play the harmonica. Madeline hopes to one day be proficient enough to “casually play by the campfire” with her friends. Madeline was also determined to play intramural sports. Describing herself as not very athletic, she found a way to achieve this goal and joined intramural table tennis. Last year, she was chosen to be the top table tennis representative of her organization and deeply penetrated the playoff bracket. Madeline says that even if she is not naturally gifted at something, she will find a way to make it work.
At Baylor, Madeline is a double major in ProSales and Human Resources Management. She is also an active member of Chi Omega where she was selected to head the Chili Cook-Off, the largest philanthropy event at Baylor University. Madeline’s team found a way and raised over $25,000 for the benefiting foundation. Madeline says that she has learned a lot in the ProSales program, but one lesson particularly stands out: confidence is invaluable. Over the years she has had to step into roles that have taken her out of her comfort zone. Through these experiences she has learned to have confidence in her strengths, her ability to grow, and her desire to find a way. She looks forward to finding her way at Emser Tile.
