Student Feature – Jacob Todd

Jacob is no stranger to competition. He was the captain of his football team in high school and enjoys competitive hobbies like skiing. Jacob loves winning and is always challenging himself to improve. He says he loves the rush that comes with closing a sale- this motivates him to stay competitive and continue improving his work.

The ProSales program has taught Jacob many skills, like strategies to build rapport, that he has been able to apply in his job at State Farm. He has also been able to apply ProSales principles to his personal life, learning to understand people’s motivations or striving to apply the challenger personality.

Jacob plans to pursue his career at Federated Insurance and find new ways to be a true competitor for that company’s success as well.
