Sales Education Foundation Names Baylor University’s Center for Professional Selling a 2017 Top University for Professional Sales Education
Baylor University’s Center for Professional Selling has been named a “Top University Sales Program” by the Sales Education Foundation (SEF) for the eighth consecutive year. Universities selected as top schools for professional sales education are recognized for preparing students for successful careers in sales and for elevating the sales profession. The top universities offer a variety of education and development experiences through undergraduate, graduate, executive programs, sales competitions and internships.
Baylor’s Professional Selling program’s focus on curriculum and professional development activities, including Top Gun Training and sales competitions, plays an integral role in the program’s 100% placement rate for all junior (intern) and senior-level students.
“As the very first sales program in the US (in 1985), Baylor’s Professional Selling program has been a leader in this space for three decades,” said Andrea Dixon, Executive Director of Baylor’s Center for Professional Selling. “Now that there is a growing number of schools working in this area, we are focused on leading the field by constantly innovating our differentiated program. According to our corporate partners, at graduation, Baylor students are equivalent to sales professionals having three years of sales experience.”
