Student Feature – Sam Azide

When Sam Azide sees a need, he feels compelled to take action. For example, when Sam noticed many black students at Baylor were interested in having a place where they could worship and come together in community, he and his friend launched an on-campus ministry called Facetime with God. While starting the group was not without challenge, it is now officially chartered by Baylor and boasts more than 50 regular members.

Sam is dynamic – a quick learner, willing to look deep into what makes things work. Completing an internship with OxyChem, Sam’s interest in the science behind chemical products propelled his desire to sell the OxyChem product line.

Overall, Sam applauds the intentionality of the ProSales program as one of its most attractive characteristics. He believes the program will propel him to great success as he begins his career with IBM.
