Student Feature – Austin Newberry

While doing his best may not always be the easiest route, Austin’s faith propels him to constantly pursue that route. Due to his strong desire to help and connect with others, Austin served as a member of K-Life leadership in Waco, volunteers with his church’s worship team, and is a member of a Christian non-profit organization at Baylor.

According to Austin, the ProSales program has taught him a great deal about himself and others. From time management skills to how to leverage relationships, his ProSales-built skills – combined with the relationships he has made within the program – have provided him a solid foundation on which to build his career.

Ultimately, Austin seeks to serve, exceed expectations and stand out in all that he does. Combined with his faith journey, Austin looks forward to beginning his career with Owens Corning following graduation.
