Journal for Advancement of Marketing Education Releases Special Issue, Co-Edited by Dr. Andrea Dixon
The Marketing Management Association is pleased to announce the release of the Journal for Advancement of Marketing Education’s (JAME) special issue on Teaching Innovations in Sales Education, co-edited by Dr. Andrea Dixon (Baylor University) and Dr. Jimmy Peltier (University of Wisconsin, Whitewater). The special issue include fourteen papers focused on new approaches for teaching in the sales discipline. The special issue (Volume 24, 2016) can be found at www.mmaglobal.org/publications/jame/current-past-issues.
The Journal for the Advancement of Marketing Education’s visibility increased substantially with this special issue as the number of visitors to the journal’s website is up 10%. The JAME website is also experiencing a 20% increase in new visitors to the website after the release of the special issue.
“It was an honor to shape this special issue and guide the review process, ensuring that only the strongest work was represented in this special issue,” said Dr. Andrea Dixon, Executive Director of Baylor’s Center for Professional Selling. “The increased focus on sales education in the U.S. academic community, as well as in universities outside the United States, means that more and more teacher-scholars are looking for resources for sharing strong curricula and pedagogies.”
