Nine Baylor Professional Selling students recently competed in the inaugural Baylor Business Negotiation Competition. ProSales juniors Dustan Dendy and Forrest Frank took 1st place overall, while juniors Caleb Simmons and Melanie Wyman took 2nd place overall in a field of 32 competitors.

“We believe negotiating skills are critical for these future business leaders,” said Dr. Emily Hunter, Associate Professor of Management. “The competition’s aim is to facilitate skill development through experiential learning while providing feedback from experienced business negotiators.” Hunter looks forward to expanding the competition next year to both internal and external competitors.
