Student Feature – Matt Galvin
In today’s culture, success is often measured in money or material possessions. For Matt Galvin, however, success is much more than that – if someone is not fulfilling his/her potential, Matt finds great fulfillment in helping the individual reach that point.
Matt isn’t one to accept things the way they are or have always been. When Matt witnessed a culture of negativity on his cross-country team, he worked to become team captain and completely altered the team’s culture and atmosphere. As a Professional Selling student, Matt took advantage of the opportunity to mentor younger students in the program. Instilling the traits he developed to become sharper, more organized, and more refined in his sales skills with others, Matt lived out his Christian faith: “He must become greater; I must become less” (John 3:30).
Matt’s passion for serving others is evident in his life. He looks forward to melding sales and personal relationships in his career at Acuity following graduation.
