Student Feature – Madeline Perkins

Headshot of Madeline Perkins

Madeline Perkins is busy. She’s completing a double major at Baylor and active in her church and sorority. To top it off, Madeline opened her own food truck during her junior year. After studying abroad in Europe, Madeline knew crepes would be a popular food truck addition to her college town. With permits gathered and help secured (through her best friend and brother), Holy Crepe was born. The truck garnered huge success and could be found at popular Baylor events before Madeline sold the business her senior year.

All this success could easily go to one’s head. However, Madeline says her greatest accomplishments have been rooted in her faith – she started a greeting committee at her church and served on a leadership team for a campus ministry.

Madeline credits a lot of her growth to the Professional Selling program. The journey continues with graduation and future employment with OxyChem.
