Baylor ProSales Earns Top Team Honors
Baylor’s Professional Selling program (Baylor ProSales) finished 3rd overall in the Western States Collegiate Sales Competition (WSCSC). ProSales seniors, Katie Simutis and Lindsey Regan, alongside ProSales junior, Pearson Brown led Baylor to this top finish.
Brown took 3rd place overall as an individual competitor. “The WSCSC was my first competition. It was a great experience and the lessons I learned through training for this competition will stick with me for rest of my career!” said Junior ProSales major Brown. The WSCSC team was lead by Faculty coach, Dr. Bill Weeks, student coach, Olivia Bowman, and on-site coach and Baylor alumnus Ann Petricca. “We are very proud of the effort our students put into preparing for the sales competition and how they represented Baylor University. The WSCSC was a tremendous developmental opportunity that allowed our ProSales students to sharpen their sales skills and participate in a competitive environment,” said to Dr. Bill Weeks, Baylor’s faculty coach.
The Western States Collegiate Sales Competition is designed to help students apply what they learn in the classroom to realistic and challenging sales situations. Role plays are judged by a panel of recruiters.
