Student Feature – Lauren Fender

What makes Lauren Fender –a senior triple-major in ProSales, Business Fellows, and Entrepreneurship — unique is her above-average love of sports. Lauren prides herself on knowing more about college football than the average male.

Lauren’s love of sports and competition began at a young age. In high school, she was a three-sport athlete. Her freshman year at Baylor, Lauren was a member of the Baylor Women’s Golf team. Now, Lauren works for Baylor Athletics Media Relations.

Through her media relations job, Lauren has had a number of unique opportunities, including working at Cowboys Stadium, being on ESPNU, and accompanying the football team on several away games. Lauren has also had the opportunity to take the reins of Baylor Football social media during live games, and design the post-game blog.
