Student Feature – Andrew Miner

Recently, Baylor football has been on the rise. Along for the ride is a slogan known by all Baylor football fans: “We Are Going To Win.” Andrew Miner, a senior Professional Sales major and Corporate Communications minor, was one of the creators of this famous sign, originally created in 2011.

Andrew wished to instill hope among Baylor students. “After a few big wins, I partnered with W. Promotions to create a T-shirt with the phrase, ‘We Are Going to Win,’ and then worked with the Baylor Bookstore for distribution. We have sold over 300 shirts. This sales experience allowed me to succeed in the corporate world.”

Andrew is also a contributor to Our Daily Bears, a fan-run blog concerning all Baylor sports. “I need to be accurate and concise when informing readers. The business world is no different when it comes to communication.” Writing for Our Daily Bears is a means of practicing strong communication for Andrew, and a way to exercise his passion for sports.
