Student Feature – Brittany Verhulst
Brittany Verhulst, a senior ProSales student from Arlington Heights, IL, is dedicated and passionate about serving her community and others. “I’ve had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to sponsor Yarleni, an eight-year-old girl from a farming village in the Dominican Republic,” said Verhulst. “I visit her often and I’m able to continue a beautiful friendship with her and many others in the Dominican Republic.”
After arriving at Baylor, Brittany joined in community service work with Waco Habitat for Humanity, the Waco Blind Rehabilitation Center and has helped on numerous other service projects. “I am extremely passionate about helping others, so it has been a joy to be able to do so through service work in the Dominican Republic, as well as the Waco community,” said Verhulst.
Brittany plans to continue using her passion for serving others in Seattle, Washington where she is relocating with 3M, a global innovation company which is #101 on the Fortune 500 list.
