Student Feature – Simeon Brown

“My early work experience was focused on business, but I want my life to be about more than profits,” said Simeon Brown, a ProSales senior from Manchester, MO. “Faith must be a driving force behind what I do. I must be excellent at what I do if I want to represent Jesus Christ in the workplace.”
Simeon’s dedication to his faith and community was recognized and rewarded last April when he received the Paul J. Meyer Christian Leadership in Business Scholarship. Along with academic and extracurricular requirements, each applicant is asked to describe how his/her Christian faith has been relevant in life and leadership.
“For me, the things I’ve learned in ProSales go beyond selling,” said Brown. “I use my communication skills, ability to articulate a vision and make a value statement in the work place as well as in my role as a small group leader in the church.”
