Real-Life Sales Experience and Professional Networking Abundant at Pro-Am Sales Competition
Pi Sigma Epsilon’s annual Pro-Am Regional Sales Competition will take place on October 14-16, 2011 at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette in Lafayette, LA.
Each year at the Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE) competition, students compete in real-life, business-to-business sales scenarios. Professional salespeople serve as mentors and coaches for the students to promote sales skills and professionalism. Baylor competes in the South/West division with over 20 other universities sending students to the competition. The top two salespeople from each regional competition will represent their region and their respective universities at the PSE National Competition in March 2012.
The Center for Professional Selling is currently looking for students interested in competing to sign up for the PSE Pro-Am Regional Sales Competition. The deadline to sign up is Tuesday, September 13, 2011. If you would like to compete or would like more information, please contact Dr. Andrea Dixon. Preference will be given to students enrolled in the Professional Selling Program, however all students with interest are encouraged to sign up.
