This study guide will give you the basic guidelines to be successful in competition. Use this guide to help you fine-tune your skills. Pay attention to the eligibility requirements for each competition.
All competitors must be currently enrolled as undergraduate students in a college or university in the United States.
A faculty or staff member is not required to be present in order to participate.
Step 1: Submit a 1-page executive summary of your team’s consulting project. The project should be completed by March 17. The project will not be furnished by Baylor.
Judges will score each team’s project. The score will determine seeding in the bracket for Presentation Pro.
Scoring Criteria: Review the points individuals and schools can earn in each event. In addition to winning an event, points can be earned towards being named “Champion” for individuals and schools. Any ties will be broken by the sum of their top 3 student’s scores, then placing and raw scores received in Presentation Pro.
IMPORTANT: Students are welcome to participate in any event of their choosing. However, please be aware that event times may overlap. Successful scheduling is part of the challenge, and attendees should plan wisely. Please note if a student advances in a bracket competition, they may be short on time to participate in other competitions. Choose wisely and good luck!
