Integrity
“Integrity is the courage to meet the demands of reality.”
-Dr. Henry Cloud
Our purpose behind this event is to instill integrity in the industry. Inserting Dr. Cloud’s definition, the purpose is to instill courage to meet the demands of reality in the industry.
What are some of those demands?
For recruiters: In order to find top talent, we have to move beyond our networks. Observing candidates performing the job tasks is a way to ensure the talent is seen first. When talent is seen first, the most skilled candidates are more likely to receive top positions.
For the competition: Gathering top talent creates value for top recruiters. When top recruiters are gathered, then even more top talent is motivated to come. Each are guided by the scoring rubrics centered on high moral integrity.
For everyone: The demands for anyone to reach their full potential include these basic areas. Can you answer each of these questions?
Spiritual– What do I believe about religion and faith?
Physical– Am I taking care of my body?
Moral– Can I be counted on to make decisions that are best for the group?
Emotional– Am I taking care of my mind?
Financial– Do I have sufficient funds to pay for my own needs and some wants?
Addressing these demands, though not always monitored by companies, affects individuals and their work performance.
Everyone has room to improve in these areas. How we do that is more complicated. There are so many sources of information and advice available to us. The list on this page consists of reputable resources that could be a starting point towards building integrity in each area.
