Dr. Paul completed her Ph.D. in the lab of Prof. Steven Ealick in Cornell University, where she studied the structure and function of proteins in thiamine biosynthesis, using x-ray crystallography. She joined the Min lab in August of 2015 to elucidate the structural basis of DNA damage recognition by XPC/Rad4 DNA repair protein.
