At Texas A&M Univeristy, I taught MATH 166 – Contemporary Mathematics II (i.e., Discrete Mathematics) and led recitation for Math 151/152 – Engineering Calculus I/II, which contained a MATLAB component. I am a fellow of the Texas A&M Graduate Teaching Academy (please click here for details). In 2012, I became the founder and director of The GREAT (Graduate Students Reaching for Excellence in Academics and Teaching) Program. This seminar series and mentoring program was designed to help mathematics graduate students become effective instructors. In 2014, I assisted with developing a new course (MATH 696) for new teaching assistants that was based on The GREAT Program.
