What follows is somewhere between a think-piece and a scholarly agenda on the theme of Lived and Everyday Religion. It represents a set of ideas that I would like to work on, although presently, I am not too sure how, where or when. Through my research and writings through the years, I just keep coming back to this set of ideas, regardless of the specific topic or era I am exploring at any time, and it would be wonderful to develop this overarching theme.
As my work in this area develops, I am drawing heavily on scientific theories of religious behavior and belief. I have compiled quite a substantial bibliography on this topic as well. That in turn relates to separate material on the theme of History and the Senses.
This should develop into a book, almost certainly, but I am not yet sure of the exact direction.
