Mahesh Bade, PhD, Post Doctoral Research Associate

Dr. Bade is from India. His research focuses on atmospheric aerosols, air quality modelling, and climate change. Google Scholar

Shannon Lindsey, PhD Student 

Shannon is from Kingwood, Texas. She graduated with a B.Sc. in Environmental Science from Stephen F. Austin State University and a M.Sc. in Sustainability and Environmental Studies from the University of Strathclyde. Shannon is working on CO2 trends in Texas, California, and Florida and wildfires in California.

Nilkamal Jaisawal, PhD Student 

Nilkamal is from Nepal. He graduated with a B.Sc. in Physics and a M.Sc. in Geophysics with specialization in Meteorology from Banaras Hindu University, India. Nilkamal is working on the impacts of wildfire aerosols on snow cover over Northwestern USA, as well as, analyzing high pollution episodes in Houston. Google Scholar

Akinleye Folorunsho, PhD Student

Akinleye is from Nigeria. He earned his Master’s degree in Meteorology and Climate Science. Akinleye is working on high-resolution modeling of VOC and ozone chemistry in the urban atmospheric boundary layer as well as CH4 and CO2 emissions from Landfills and the relevant potential climate mitigation strategies. Nafissatou Ba,PhD Student

Nafissatou is from Mali. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science from SUNY Plattsburgh and a Master of Environmental Studies with a concentration in Sustainability from the University of Pennsylvania. Nafissatou is working on air quality related to prescribed burning and wildfires. LinkedIn

Grace Malone, Undergraduate Student

Grace is from Rowlett, Texas. She graduated with an Associate of Science from Dallas College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Environmental Science in the Honor’s Program at Baylor University. Grace is working on a NSF-REU supported landfill project.
