Ph.D. Students

In the Simmons Lab we like to work with an enthusiastic, creative, and positive attitude. If you think you may be interested in working with us please start by reading a few of our papers to get a feel for what we are researching and our methods. More information can be found here. Competitive applicants will have had previous research experience, preferably in molecular biology, neuroscience or otolaryngology. Other academic backgrounds will be considered. If after reading some of our publications you are still interested, please send an email to and/or and include the following: Undergraduate and post-graduate GPA(s) and transcript(s); GRE score (percentiles are acceptable as well), and a brief statement of purpose that explains why you are interested joining our research team.
