Special Session on Operator Splitting Methods and Adaptive Schemes for Systems of Nonlinear Evolution Equations

UTRGV, South Padre Island, Texas  (University of Texas Rio Grande Valley)

November 5-7, 2021

This special session is dedicated to recent advances in the theory and practice of numerical methods for systems of nonlinear evolution equations, with an emphasis on highly accurate, efficient, structure-preserving, splitting, and adaptive algorithms. Applications in industry and novel approaches, such as parallel algorithms, are an important theme in this special session. We intend to accommodate a sufficiently broad spectrum of investigations, and will consider both theoretical and computational aspects of the burgeoning field.
Young and emerging researchers are especially encouraged to participate. Multi-disciplinary and multi-institutional research collaborations are a central focus in this special session.

This in-person event may be converted to hybrid or virtual. Please contact one of the organizers if you are interested in joining the special session.
