YAH is a gospel song written by Dunsin Oyekan, a Nigerian worshiper who hails from Ilorin. He released it in 2021, along with other tiles in his album The Kingdom of the kingdom. YAH is a short form of YHWH to mean the name of God of the Israelites. It also means Adonai (Lord). Men or generations cannot exhaust the praise of  God or praise God enough. From generation past, his honour has been on and we keep adoring him because he is from everlasting to everlasting. Men called God several names based on their revelation, but his name is called God from generation to generation.

This gospel song is a deep worship song that has been used in Nigeria to adore the Almighty God in corporate worship, both private and public worship. The choir also used the song as their piece for ministration during praise and thanksgiving service.

Lyrics

Generations after generations
Keep praising you, yet no word sums you up
Then I asked the Lord what name fits you
And He said Yah

Yah, the hallowed one
Yah, the holy one
Yahweh, the king of Zion

Then I asked the Lord what name fits you
And He said Yah
