Our vision is to (1) achieve next-generation combustion systems with high efficiency, compactness, fuel-flexibility, resilience, and near-zero-emissions for propulsion and power generation through fundamental understanding, transformative design, and industrial integration; (2) advance spraying technology for many applications with transformational efficiency and durability.
Mission
The Cornerstone Atomization and Combustion Lab at Baylor University is devoted to (1) cutting edge research in the fields of advanced atomization, combustion, multi-phase and multi-physics flows, and thermo-fluids system design; and (2) fanning the flame into the gifts of the team members and training the leading researchers and workforce.
