Professional Learning Plan Outline

Any good plan needs to first begin with a solid outline.  The same is true for my Professional Learning Plan which is currently being developed.  This outline is divided into two main stages (Planning Stage and Implementation Stage) and consists of thirteen steps within the two stages.  The Planning Stage is scheduled for the Fall 2020 semester to allow time to meet with the various constituents and to finalize the second stage as needed.  The Implementation Stage is scheduled to begin in Spring 2021 which is typically a somewhat easier term for many faculty to participate in online professional learning activities.

This outline is also based around the BHAG and 3-column table related to my Innovation Plan.  To view this table, please visit:

In order to plan out the various steps of my Professional Learning Plan, I created the following outline.

This document is actually a living document that can be edited and modified in real-time based on the current status of each step of the plan.  The purpose of placing this document online is so that it can be easily edited by each member of the team.  This outline will likely expand or change fairly dramatically as the Learning Systems team meets with campus leadership, the Academy for Teaching and Learning, and the Instructional Design team.  By doing this, this document will be as flexible as possible while the steps in the planning stage progress.  Each step of the plan is also automatically color-coded based on the current status.
