Applying to the Ph.D. Program
We expect to recruit 1-2 graduate students for the Fall 2021 class. Ph.D. students at Baylor receive tuition wavers, a competitive stipend, and annual conference travel funds. Students are trained to have success in academic careers, but the graduate program also provides considerable training in quantitative methods to increase student competitiveness for industry and other non-traditional career paths. For more information on the Ph.D. program track in Behavioral Neuroscience, see our departmental webpage. Applications are due to the Baylor Graduate School before December 10th, 2020.

There will be opportunities to learn molecular biology, psychopharmacology, and neuroanatomy, among other multidisciplinary behavioral neuroscience techniques. Interest in graduate school or a career in the biomedical sciences is a plus. Candidates of all races, religions, sexual orientations, and abilities are encouraged to apply. To apply, please email a cover letter, unofficial transcript, and CV/resume to Dr. Hwa.
