Research Interests: I am interested in the impact of both inflammatory processes and dietary factors, such as antioxidant compounds, on age-related neuro-cognitive degeneration. Currently, I am presently investigating the progression of a preclinical type I diabetes model and how it influences inflammation and oxidative stress as well as cognitive and affective outcomes in aging.

Hobbies: Hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, painting, running, Tough Mudders, playing video games, drinking coffee, and taking naps.
