Description: Experiences in youth choirs are important to the entire church music program. Voice change is an inherent issue when working with the youth choir as it affects literature selection as well as development of the choral tone and vocal expectations of the adolescent singers. In this session, you will learn about voice change in the adolescent male and female voice ? what is happening during voice change, symptoms of change, range considerations as well as vocal techniques used within the choral rehearsal with youth choirs.
