To use a personal device (laptop, tablet, smartphone) in most classrooms today requires adapting the output to HDMI. (This used to be VGA which is now mostly gone.) Most modern laptops have an HDMI output on them.

Adaptors are in some rooms for common devices, but faculty are encouraged to be “self-contained” with the specific adaptor needed for their device. Either the CTS or A&S Tech consultants will be help with your specific device.
